“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus said:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.' ”
2 Corinthians 5: 19-20 says,
"...He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you, on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God."
The message of reconciliation we are to deliver to the world is the gospel, which is of first importance:
"that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures". 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4
Like most of the other apostles of Jesus, Paul found himself in prison many times because of his preaching of the gospel. That is why in Ephesians 6:19-20, Paul calls himself, "an ambassador in chains". What a great honor it was for him to suffer for the name of Jesus.

Remember, you are not alone in the work for the Lord.
The apostle, Paul, was reassured by the Lord that he was not alone in his work of preaching the word.
Acts 18:9-10 reads,
Acts 18:9-10 reads,
9 "One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: 'Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10 For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city. ' ”

Elijah, the prophet, thought he was all alone in the work for the Lord when he went up against King Ahab and Jezebel, so he ran and hid himself in a cave. The LORD found him and asked him what he was doing.
1 Kings 19:14-19 reads:
"He replied, 'I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.'
15 The Lord said to him, 'Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. 16 Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. 17 Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.
18 Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him. ' ”

There will always be someone representing Jesus Christ somewhere in the world until all of His saints are called home.
